Sean Paul Wants Drake to Give More Credit to Dancehall Artists! –Last fall, dancehall legend Sean Paul said Drake didn’t give the genre enough credit for inspiring his the sound behind his hit Views single, “One Dance.” Now Sean is revisiting the topic.

In a recent interview with metro.co.uk, Sean says he hasn’t changed his opinion too much—if at all. “I think at the time when [‘One Dance’] was popping off, it would have been good for him to actually put accolades towards the whole culture,” Sean said, once again claiming Drizzy didn’t do enough to shine light on dancehall culture. “He’s friendly with a few people in the business in Jamaica and that’s good, I love it. But if he had given more accolades when he was actually making it and said, ‘This is the music I love,’ it would have been cool.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Sean brought Ed Sheeran into the discussion, saying the UK-based artist hadn’t delved into dancehall as much as Drizzy had on his recent projects.
